Located centrally in the spectacular landscape of Cappadocia, the “Antik Cave House” can be easily reached via direct flights from Istanbul to either Nevsehir or Kayseri Airports.
Hotel Features
Newly opened in 2008, the “Cave House” is a beautiful dream that was realized and came true for the former Tourism Director of Urgup, Mr. Abdurrahman Yuksel and his charming wife Ulku. With much love and devotion, they created an extremely cozy atmosphere for guests to visit them during all seasons of the year, spring, summer, fall, and winter as well. The “Cave House” is fully climatized, and all rooms are equipped with state of the art central heating an important feature for the region, because the winter months can become quite cold at times. All rooms were decorated by Ulku Hanim, who created very many of the beautiful parts personally by hand.
Guest Rooms
The “Antik Cave House” consists of altogether seven rooms in various configurations. There are four double rooms as well as three suites, and all rooms are equipped with such amenities as hair dryers, personal coffee and tea machines, and direct high speed Internet access. Essentially all rooms are double rooms, whereby the 2 room suites have the added opportunity of an extra bed for a third person or a child. Additional beds can be provided upon request. Two suites are equipped with Jakuzzi/shower. Two rooms are equipped with full bathtub/shower, and three rooms are equipped with luxury shower cabins. The three double rooms with luxury shower bathrooms were designed to resemble the atmosphere of old village houses. One of the suites is a classical “arched” room and has a Jakuzzi/shower.Another of the suites is a troglodyte (“cave”) and is equipped with full bathtub/shower.There is also a “Konak” style (mansion...) suite fitted with Jakuzzi/shower. The ultimate luxury suite is a wonderful mixture of elements. This two room suite includes a seperate living room with antique chimney and is an interesting combination of a cave and a “Konak”.
